we ‘re always under construction just like our  illinois roadways!

a resource for everyone interested collecting “beer stuff” from Chicago breweries

I started many years ago. My intention then was to offer a library of some of the more interesting, rare, and collectible items used by long-gone Chicago breweries for the advertising of their beer and ale.

This next iteration will be an expansion of that photo library, but I’ll also provide information about where to find, acquire, and value vintage antique advertising from these breweries – everything from beer cans to point-of-purchase displays, to large outdoor signage and more.

What is “breweriana”, anyway?  It’s a lot more than beer cans and bottles!

learn, share, enjoy

My goal is to provide background, information, valuation and more about the vast quantity of brewery collectibles made by and for the entities that brewed beer in Chicago.

Got Beer Signs?  If it was brewed in Chicago and is from the early 1970’s or older, I’m interested in helping you learn about it, about the brewery, assess it’s value and more.  I have access to a network of collectors.

The Goods

Cans and bottles… sure. Signs, tappers, labels, neon and more.

Possession is 9/10th of ownership.  I’ll give you a fair assessment of what you’ve got, how old it is, if it has value, and your best recourse should you decide to sell or trade it.
